Hygiene and general dental

Check-ups: Check-ups should be made approximately every six months to ensure healthy teeth and gums.

X-rays: Generally, x-rays will be taken the first time you visit Prospect Dental at your check-up appointment. They will also be taken approximately every two years, in case of any changes. An OPG may be needed to check wisdom teeth, below the gums, etc.

Hygiene: As with check-ups, a routine hygiene appointment should be made to monitor oral hygiene. Our Hygienist will take the up most care of your gums, especially focusing on periodontal disease, giving you a thorough and gentle clean. A fluoride treatment is included in the service, keeping your teeth healthy and strong.
